A Message from the Server Mama

We here at Homeschooling Gamers love seeing a noticeable improvement with typing, spelling and reading comprehension among some of our younger (newer) players!

This is such a great place to teach those attributes and I am so delighted to be apart of their Homeschooling education.

Nothing is better then learning in a 'having-fun' atmosphere. Even us adults, love learning something in a way that doesn’t feel like work.

Minecraft encourages children to read, understand, focus on projects, work as a team, problem solve, construct, create, and engineer. So many amazing life-skills can be collected and encouraged. There is also social skills being built through their interaction on Discord.

I love hearing from our HG parents, so never hesitate to message me with questions on how you can appreciate the game from an educators prospective. They will love the increased screen-time, you'll love that they are learning along the way. ♥

My favorite thing is receiving messages from parents who were reluctant to let their kids play MC or MC on a server but now love how motivated their young gamers are to read, complete chores (so they can play), and even earn money so they can help donate to the longevity of the server. It touches my heart and makes they long hours monitoring, the research, conflict resolutions, and time expanding the server so worth it!

Once again, (and I’ll say/write this often) Thank you. Thank you for honoring us with attendance, support, referrals, and real-life connections. They are making friendships, memories, builds, and having so much fun. I love to hear the laughter and the care these children hold for one another.

Please continue to share your experience/testimony with other Homeschool parents and groups about Minecraft. We celebrate all new members and cherish existing ones! ♥

We are here. We are Homeschooling Gamers. We are a community and we are gaming-learning-connecting on!!

Many Blessings from our Home(school) to yours, Sara.
