Gaming; Starting the Early and Often.
This reminds me so much of my oldest son. We use to play Crash Badicot on the PlayStation when he was in his Kinder years. I was potty-training one daughter and nursing another all while watching him play level after level. When he'd get frustrated, I'd try. Together we reached the end of each release. He just turned 18 and got the new 're-digitized' release of Crash Bandicot for his birthday. It touches my heart when he recalls me picking him up from school and the first thing he would ask is "Mommy, did You beat the level we were stuck on while I was gone today?" He has taught me so much about gaming and his knowledge, hand-eye coordination, and ability to navigate through coding, html, programming, and computer specs blows my mind!! I am grateful we introduced him to the computer when he was just a babe. He is our go-to tech support and brought the world of Minecraft into our family over 5 years ago. Truly one of my warmest memories as a mother was sitting beside all my children as they explained how to walk, jump, chop, and build in the blocky world of Minecraft. Thank goodness they were patient with me! lol It took some time before I'd brave-up and join them in Survival Mode!!🤣
