From My Desk to Yours....

Way to go group!!

We've added so many new members this month already. Most requests mention finding out about our group - on another Homeschooling group.

It is your sharing us, that has given the growth we see here. There are still more Homeschoolers desperately seeking a safe gaming environment for their students. Thank you for reaching out to them and your warm welcomes when they arrive. ♥

For those who are already gaming on the HG platforms we really need your attendance. There is no HG server(s) without gamers. Many of our players are watching to see if anyone logs on to play. One will log on and then there is a wave of gamers who pop on. Still someone has to be the first. Please encourage your gamers to give some time during the day or set a scheduled time for them to come and play. We have nearly 100 gamers whitelisted but only an-average 8 active gamers. Please come and play, make friends, and see what is new on the server today! =D

Have a gamer who says 'It's boring." ? Ask why. What can the server offer to make it more fun and engaging? Have them send in their suggestions and ideas. You don't even need to 'pull a ticket' like on other servers. One of our Admins are normally on at all times, if not there is a suggestion box outside the Mega Server office. You can also send messages via facebook, discord and the HG website.

Got MC gamers that would rather be on Hypixel or other giant public servers? Explain to them that HG would have more gamers if more gamers came on. Our sever can't compete with the numbers of public servers if some of our numbers choose gaming on the public servers over our private one. (not to mention the language on those severs!)

Some of our gamers will come on our server and ask others to go play on the two largest servers in the world. This is disappointing and highly disrespectful. =(

On a final note; We have added two more mini-games to the HG server:

Bowling: (no plug-in = no scoreboard) which is mostly a hang-out game environment.

Zombie Attack: Parents be forewarned!! This is a shooting (no guns) game. There is a mild blood effect that we have messaged the plug-in creator about. He is going to add a way for us to remove that effect upon his next update. Some parents are more sensitive about this kind of game-play. (I personally don't like the blood and therefore it has to go) I just want everyone to be aware it is a new game on the server.

For parents who oppose the game: we can remove permissions for your gamer to access it. I can post a video on fb so you can see the effect/content and decide.

Through suggestions: we will also be adding a few more worlds to the server. One being a more 'hard-core' survival (similar to FFA), a themed 'challenge' Creative (similar to what we did on Christmas), and a Art Gallery Creative for those who want to show their Pixel art Skills.
